We are so blessed! Josh got laid off 2 years ago this month. He has worked so hard at finding a job and was unsuccessful for a year and a half. He has been working at the City of St. George for the Parks since August. I know he doesn't love his job right now, but we are SO grateful for his job, so he doesn't complain. It is crazy how things work out. He got into the firefighter academy in January, (he says he started it all for the free golf :) ) having no idea he would fall in love with the career like he has. He knew the St. George Fire Department would be hiring full time firefighters in the fall, so he worked really hard at learning all he could. For the hiring process he had to take a test and have an interview, sounds simple enough. The test was super hard, Josh studied almost every day for about 3 months. Needless to say, Josh got one of 9 full-time firefighter positions for the City of St. George Fire Department. We truly do recognize our Heavenly Father's hands in our lives. We are SO blessed! Josh is so excited about his new career :) It has been fun for me to see him smile so much about a job :) I have the BEST husband in the world! Elsie and I are 2 of the luckiest girls in the world! Thank you Josh, we are so proud of you! You deserve all of it!!!
